Abstract

Oncology nursing plays a crucial role in the management and care of patients with cancer, significantly impacting their overall outcomes and quality of life. This comprehensive review explores the multifaceted contributions of oncology nurses to patient care, focusing on areas such as symptom management, patient education, emotional support, and coordination of care. Through an analysis of current literature, the review highlights how oncology nurses enhance patient outcomes by effectively managing treatment-related side effects, promoting adherence to treatment regimens, and providing psychosocial support throughout the cancer journey.
