Received Date: Dec 01, 2023 / Published Date: Dec 29, 2023
Abstract
Breast neoplasms represent a significant health concern worldwide, necessitating accurate and timely diagnostic approaches for optimal patient outcomes. Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) imaging has emerged as a promising modality for the assessment of breast lesions, offering improved sensitivity and specificity compared to conventional ultrasound. This article reviews the early features of breast neoplasms as depicted on contrastenhanced ultrasound, highlighting their practical significance in clinical practice. By examining the distinctive enhancement patterns and perfusion characteristics of breast lesions, clinicians can enhance diagnostic confidence and make informed decisions regarding patient management. The integration of CEUS into routine breast imaging protocols holds the potential to refine diagnostic accuracy, guide biopsy decisions, and ultimately improve patient care.
