    The author discussed the applicability of next generation sequencing as a method of diagnosis for chronic diseases by studying the expression of specific pathogenic alleles as well as mutated alleles. The article reviews the current status of the clinical applicability of next generation sequencing and the future prospects that involves the fast and effective diagnosis of diseases.
