Abstract
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a versatile analytical technique that has revolutionized the field of molecular structure determination. By exploiting the inherent magnetic properties of atomic nuclei, NMR spectroscopy provides valuable insights into the chemical and physical properties of molecules. This article presents an overview of the principles underlying NMR spectroscopy, including concepts such as chemical shift, spin-spin coupling, and relaxation processes. It also highlights the wide range of applications of NMR spectroscopy in fields such as structural elucidation, drug discovery, materials science, and environmental analysis.
