Pregnancy and Mechanical Heart Valves Substitution; Issue of Anticoagulation

Abstract
Pregnancy with mechanical heart valves represents an extraordinary issue. Pregnancy instigates unequivocal confusions of the hemostatic instrument inclining ladies to thrombo-embolic difficulties. There is a checked height of fibrinogen level, which in late pregnancy moves toward twofold the degree of that in non-pregnant ladies. In the third trimester there is expanded convergence of components VII, VIII, IX, X and XII while the degree of antithrombin III reductions. Notwithstanding that there is an expansion in blood volume, plasma thickness, intra-stomach pressure, and venous pressure.
