Abstract

Negative Carbon Emission and beyond. The construction methods will allow to achieve an objective from Net Zero Carbon Emission to “Negative Carbon Emission” wherever is located the project. This without compromising on the modern comfort, and by having the most healthy interior (materials, air, water,…) For the purpose of achieving this goal, adaptability to the local materials, techniques, architectures and budget will be reviewed. Different techniques will be presented for healthier constructions and healthier indoor environment, such as water treatment, indoor air treatment, natural materials (free of C.O.V). Techniques also leading to Positive Energy constructions. Examples of various designs (classic and modern) will be presented. Such designs have proven their high efficiency carbon emission reduction, in addition to a healthier habitat with a high percentage of re-usable materials. These designs demonstrate how to reduce the carbon emission using affordable and easy methods that have been applied in multiple countries over the world in the past 20 years, even centuries in some cases.
