Abstract

It provides a brief overview of ovarian cancer, including its epidemiology, risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. Ovarian cancer is the fifth most common cancer among women and ranks as the most lethal gynecological malignancy. It has a global incidence of approximately 295,000 new cases annually, with a higher prevalence in developed countries. The risk of developing ovarian cancer increases with age, and it is most diagnosed in women over the age of 50. Several factors contribute to the development of ovarian cancer
