Abstract

Parental expectations play a pivotal role in shaping children’s development, influencing their achievements, selfesteem, and overall well-being. While parental expectations can motivate children to strive for success and personal growth, excessive or unrealistic expectations may lead to stress, anxiety, and negative outcomes. Understanding how parental expectations impact children and navigating this delicate balance is crucial for fostering healthy parentchild relationships and promoting positive child development.
