Abstract

Chronic inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and psoriasis, significantly impact patient quality of life and healthcare systems worldwide. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underpinning these diseases is crucial for developing targeted therapeutic strategies. This review provides an overview of the molecular pathways involved in chronic inflammation and highlights recent advances in therapeutic interventions, focusing on cytokine inhibition, cell signaling modulation, and novel biotherapeutics. Furthermore, the potential of emerging therapies, including nanomedicine, microbiome modulation, and personalized medicine, is explored. Understanding these molecular insights is crucial for developing targeted and effective treatments for chronic inflammatory diseases, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
