Abstract
Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology is a specialized branch of dentistry dedicated to the imaging and interpretation of structures within the oral cavity, jaws, and facial region. This field employs a variety of imaging modalities, ranging from conventional radiography to advanced three-dimensional techniques, to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment planning of dental and maxillofacial conditions. In this article, we provide an overview of the key concepts and methodologies in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, highlighting its pivotal role in dental practice and patient care.
