Climate change presents a growing challenge to industrial hygiene, impacting worker health through increased exposure to environmental hazards and altering traditional risk profiles. This article examines the intersection of industrial hygiene and climate change, exploring how shifting environmental conditions affect worker health and safety. We discuss the impact of extreme weather events, changing air quality, and emerging environmental risks on industrial hygiene practices. The article also presents strategies for mitigating these impacts, including adaptive risk assessment methodologies, enhanced control measures, and integrated health management systems.
