Abstract
Gambling disorder, characterized by persistent and recurrent problematic gambling behavior, poses significant
challenges for affected individuals and society at large. Understanding the reactions of individuals with gambling
disorder is essential for tailoring interventions and support strategies effectively. This abstract explores various
types of reactions observed in individuals with gambling disorder, including emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and
interpersonal reactions. By synthesizing existing research findings, we aim to shed light on the diverse ways in
which individuals with gambling disorder respond to their condition and its consequences, informing comprehensive
approaches to prevention, treatment, and support.
