Fungal Infection In Pediatric and Adolescence and Their Treatment Patterns

Abstract
Background: This study was prospective observational study the data collected for fungal infections for paediatric, adults and
gediatric from a hospital setting.
Materials and methodology: In this prospective observational study population was 321 patients came for the treatment of fungal
infections.
Conclusion: Concluded that most common fungal infection in Telangana region are Tinea pedis, Tinea corposis, Intertigo, Bindhi
contact dermatitis, Onychomyosis, Athlets foot, Candidasis, Pityarsis vesicolor, Sporotrichos, Tinea barbae, Tinea capitis. Most common
causes for fungal infection poor hygiene, lack of self care, low economical status, irregular use of medication, long in water, lack of proper
knowledge on infections caused. Cure of disease of all infections will take upto 2 weeks of time.
