Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing drug discovery and development by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of various stages in the drug development pipeline. This article explores the application of AI technologies—such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing—in target identification, compound screening, preclinical and clinical trials, and drug repurposing. AI's ability to analyze vast amounts of data and predict biological interactions is transforming traditional methods, reducing costs, and accelerating the development of new therapeutics. The article also addresses challenges associated with AI integration and offers insights into future advancements in this field.
