Abstract
Osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most common types of arthritis. Osteoarthritis (OA) is also called as “degenerative joint disease” which usually affects the joints like knee, hip and spinal joints. Overall prevalence of OA is found to be 22% to 39% in India and it generally occurs after the age of 45 years in male as well as female. Associated risk factors like age, obesity, gender, joint injury and genetics increase the prevalence of OA
