Abstract

Emerging drug delivery technologies represent a significant advancement in the field of medicine, offering enhanced therapeutic efficacy, targeted delivery, and improved patient adherence. Innovations such as nanoparticlebased systems, smart drug delivery mechanisms, gene and RNA delivery platforms, and personalized therapies have revolutionized treatment approaches across various medical conditions. However, these technologies also introduce new safety considerations, including potential toxicity, immune responses, and long-term stability issues. This article provides an overview of the latest advancements in drug delivery technologies and examines the associated safety concerns. It underscores the importance of thorough preclinical and clinical evaluations to ensure the safety and efficacy of these innovative systems.
