Abstract

Pain, whether acute or chronic, exerts profound effects on the body beyond the immediate sensation experienced by individuals. One crucial area of impact is on microcirculation, the intricate network of small blood vessels that facilitates the exchange of nutrients and oxygen between blood and tissues. Understanding how pain influences microcirculation is essential for managing various pain conditions and improving overall health outcomes.
