Abstract

Neuroinflammation, characterized by the activation of immune responses within the central nervous system, is a complex phenomenon with significant implications for various neurological disorders. Dendritic cells, traditionally recognized as key players in adaptive immunity, have emerged as central figures in the intricate network of brainimmune interactions. This article explores the role of dendritic cells in neuroinflammation, shedding light on their contributions to both the maintenance of brain homeostasis and the pathogenesis of neurological disorders.
