However, by-products such as coal fly ash (CFA), coal backside ash (CBA), and boiler slag are generated for the duration of coal combustion, and have turn out to be a good sized environmental concern. There is an pressing want for trans disciplinary efforts in research, policy, and exercise to decrease these by-products substantially. Many researches have centered on the environmental administration and complete utilization of CFA. As a comparison, much less interest has been paid to CBA. Therefore, this quintessential assessment offers a holistic photograph of CBA, from the generation, indispensable characteristics, environmental worries to practicable applications, and advantages analysis. Based on the critical characteristics, CBA can be regarded as a sustainable and renewable useful resource with magnificent possible to produce value-added materials.
