Abstract

Children’s psychology is a crucial field that examines cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral development from infancy to adolescence. Understanding how children think, feel, and interact with their environment allows caregivers, educators, and mental health professionals to foster healthy development. This article explores key psychological theories, developmental stages, environmental influences, and mental health concerns affecting children. Additionally, it examines modern research and intervention strategies that contribute to improved wellbeing. Addressing psychological challenges early in life can promote resilience, emotional intelligence, and better coping mechanisms in adulthood.
