Abstract
Childhood obesity is a pressing public health issue characterized by excessive body fat in children, leading to increased risk of various health problems such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and psychological issues. This article provides a detailed examination of childhood obesity prevention strategies, including dietary interventions, physical activity promotion, behavioral modifications, and community-based programs. It explores the contributing factors to obesity, evaluates effective prevention measures, and discusses current challenges and future directions in combating this epidemic.
