Brief Note on Toxoplasmasis

Abstract

Toxoplasmosis could be an unwellness that results from infection with the Toxoplasma gondii parasite, one of the world’s commonest parasites. Infection sometimes happens by intake undercooked contaminated meat, exposure from infected cat excreta, or mother-to-child transmission throughout gestation. Although the infection is common as indicated by a high prevalence of toxoplasma protein among the majority human populations, the clinical malady is determined in exactly atiny low proportion of these infected. Clinical manifestations of the malady within the traditional host, in compromised hosts together with no inheritable immune deficiency syndrome, in physiological state, sty, and therefore the relationship of infection to abortion area unit mentioned very well. Additionally varied serological tests employed in the diagnosing, their interpretation, and treatment regimens for varied classes of patients area unit reviewed. Finally the preventive measures and therefore the serological screening programs for pregnant ladies area unit mentioned.
