Abstract

Bioterrorism is a significant global security concern that involves the deliberate release of harmful biological agents to cause fear, illness, or death among populations. This research article aims to provide a comprehensive review of the various aspects related to bioterrorism, including the potential threats posed by biological agents, current preparedness measures, and effective mitigation strategies. The study examines historical cases of bioterrorism, the characteristics of different biological agents, and the impact of such attacks on public health, social systems, and national security.
