This article explores the complex landscape of bio threat agents, encompassing bacteria, viruses, toxins, and fungi that have the potential to cause significant harm to human and animal populations, agriculture, and the environment. Categorized into three groups based on their severity, these agents pose substantial risks with potential for high mortality rates, psychological impact, and economic disruption. The article delves into the impact and consequences of bio threat incidents, highlighting the need for robust biosecurity measures and effective mitigation strategies. Key measures include strengthening laboratory security, implementing surveillance systems for early detection, fostering international cooperation, developing countermeasures, and promoting public awareness and education.
