Objectives:- 1.To assess the indoor air quality by using portable air quality pollution meter among rural house hold. 2.To associate the parametric scores with selected demographic variable. Material and methods:- The interventional evaluative research approach was used for the study. An exploratory descriptive study was undertaken Assessment of indoor air quality by using portable air quality pollution meter in rural households at selected community rural area salod hirapur,  wardha district, Maharashtra state. Conclusion: - This study was done assessment of indoor air quality by using portable air quality pollution meter in rural households. The result showed that out of 55 family’s community area (majority) 43.6% were having the very unhealthy level of indoor air quality regarding rural households. However demographic factor like number of room in houses, type of wall construction material used to build. Show significant association with parametric score.
