Abstract
Dental radiology plays a crucial role in the diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring of oral and maxillofacial conditions. This research article provides a comprehensive overview of recent advancements in dental radiology, including innovations in imaging technologies, applications in clinical practice, and emerging trends shaping the future of the field. Topics covered include digital radiography systems, cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), panoramic imaging, intraoral imaging, image processing techniques, and artificial intelligence applications. Additionally, the article discusses the clinical utility of dental radiology in various dental specialties, such as endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery.
