Abstract
Abstract Recent advancements in health and safety standards have significantly impacted high-risk industries such as construction, manufacturing, mining, and oil & gas. These industries, characterized by their exposure to dangerous environments, have adopted new regulations, technologies, and practices aimed at reducing accidents, injuries, and fatalities. Key developments include the integration of real-time monitoring systems, predictive analytics, automation, and enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE). Additionally, increased regulatory oversight, along with a shift toward a safety culture that emphasizes worker well-being, has contributed to improved outcomes. This paper explores the evolution of safety protocols, examines case studies of successful implementations, and discusses future trends in the pursuit of zero harm in high-risk sectors.
