Abstract
Throat cancer surgery has evolved significantly over the past few decades, with advancements in surgical techniques, technology, and postoperative care improving patient outcomes. This comprehensive review examines the latest developments in surgical interventions for throat cancer, including minimally invasive approaches, roboticassisted surgeries, and reconstructive procedures. We also analyze postoperative complications, survival rates, and quality of life for patients undergoing throat cancer surgery. The findings indicate that while traditional surgical methods remain vital, newer techniques offer promising results with reduced morbidity and enhanced recovery. Future research
directions and potential areas for improvement in throat cancer surgery are discussed.
