Abstract

Adjuvant therapy plays a critical role in cancer treatment by providing additional treatment following primary therapies such as surgery. This article explores the various forms of adjuvant therapy, including chemotherapy, radiation, and targeted therapies, and their impact on enhancing patient outcomes and survival rates. We review current clinical guidelines, analyze the efficacy of different adjuvant treatment modalities across various cancer types, and discuss emerging trends in personalized medicine that aim to optimize adjuvant therapy.
