Abstract
Idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) is defined as a decline in hearing less than or equal to 3 days, affecting 3 or more frequencies by 30 dB or greater with no identifiable aetiology. This kind of sudden idiopathic hearing loss is usually unilateral, sometimes the patient may also complain of other symptoms such as aural fullness, tinnitus.
