Abstract
Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 PUFAs) have been reported to improve the prognosis of patients undergoing gastrointestinal tumour surgery, although surgical resection is still the main treatment for gastrointestinal (GI) cancer. This meta-analysis intends to investigate the effectiveness of n-3 PUFAs on surgically treated GI cancer patients.
