Abstract
Pain is defined as an unpleasant sensory or emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage or described in terms of such damage.
The terminal nerve ending supply such structures that have a high incidence of diseases affecting them such as dental tissues, periodontal tissues and the paranasal sinuses.
