China pays great attention to protecting and improving its people’s health. As the Constitution stipulates, “The state develops medical and health services, promotes modern medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, all for the protection of the people’s health.” Based on this constitutional stipulation, China has put in place a complete system of laws and regulations concerning medical and health services. Children's Hospital of Fudan University in Minhang is the leading hospital in medical research in china. It is a university hospital affiliated to Fudan University Shanghai Medical College. It has been consistently ranked as the top children's hospital in China, and the first children's hospital in Asia to be accredited by Joint Commission International. Numerous medical journals are published from China with good reputation.
