As a long date parasitologist that found great joy in teaching and studying this eclectic science, it is a great pleasure to introduce a new open access Parasitology journal: Archives of Parasitology!
I have been acting as a Parasitology University Teacher and then as Public Health professor and for many years strived to popularize parasitology knowledge to promote health in low-income areas.
Now we are ahead of a step further in a new instrument for spreading parasitology knowledge in a democratic way over different nations of the globe. As we welcome the journal per se as a valuable initiative, we also welcome parasitologist colleagues to join it, share their discoveries and contribute in the publication process as authors, reviewers, editors etc. Parasitologists are aware that most species on the planet are parasites, so another open access journal such as Archives of Parasitology is greatly welcome!
So “WELcome–on” and join us.
