Unlike saturated fats, unsaturated fats contain one or more double bonds in their molecular structure, which gives them unique health benefits. This article explores the properties of unsaturated fats, their sources, and their biological mechanisms in reducing inflammation. Additionally, it discusses the impact of these fats on chronic diseases, the balance between different types of dietary fats, and how incorporating them into daily nutrition can promote overall well-being.
