This condition can significantly impact an individual's ability to communicate, leading to feelings of frustration and isolation. As such, a comprehensive approach to understanding and treating aphasia is crucial for effective rehabilitation and improved quality of life. This article explores the nature of aphasia, its causes, types, and the role of speech therapists in managing and treating this challenging disorder.

What is Aphasia?
Aphasia is not a condition that affects intelligence; rather, it is a communication disorder that arises from damage to specific areas of the brain responsible for language.
