Musculoskeletal physiotherapists employ a wide range of techniques to achieve therapeutic goals. These include:

Manual therapy: Hands-on techniques such as joint mobilization, manipulation, and soft tissue massage to reduce pain and improve mobility.

Exercise therapy: Tailored exercise programs designed to strengthen muscles, enhance flexibility, and restore function.

Electrotherapy: The use of electrical modalities, such as TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) and ultrasound, to reduce pain and promote healing.

Hydrotherapy: Water-based exercises that provide resistance and support, beneficial for patients with severe pain or mobility limitations.

Acupuncture and dry needling: Techniques that involve inserting fine needles into specific points to alleviate pain and promote healing.
