While resistance training plays a crucial role in stimulating muscle growth, nutrition is equally vital in fueling this process. This article explores the relationship between nutrition and hypertrophy, highlighting the key dietary factors that contribute to muscle growth [1].

The role of protein

Protein is often hailed as the most critical macronutrient for muscle growth. It is essential for repairing and building muscle tissue. When you engage in resistance training, you create microscopic tears in your muscle fibers. These tears are repaired and strengthened during recovery, a process that relies heavily on protein.
