Abstract
n gynecologic oncology, quality indicators serve as critical tools for measuring and enhancing the effectiveness of care. These indicators provide benchmarks for evaluating clinical practices, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring adherence to best practices in the management of gynecologic cancers. This review aims to explore the role of quality indicators in improving clinical outcomes in gynecologic oncology. It seeks to identify key indicators used to assess care quality, evaluate their impact on patient outcomes, and propose strategies for leveraging these indicators to enhance clinical practice. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to identify quality indicators relevant to gynecologic oncology. Databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and Cochrane Library were searched for studies published from January 2010 to December 2023. The review focused on indicators related to treatment effectiveness, patient safety, adherence to guidelines, and patient satisfaction. Data were analyzed to evaluate the effectiveness of these indicators in improving clinical outcomes. The review identified several essential quality indicators, including surgical outcomes, adherence to evidence-based treatment guidelines, rates of postoperative complications, and patient-reported outcomes. By establishing and monitoring these indicators, healthcare providers can improve care quality, ensure adherence to best practices, and support ongoing performance improvement initiatives. Future research should focus on refining these indicators and exploring new methods for their application in clinical settings.

Introduction

As a field characterized by complex clinical challenges and diverse treatment approaches, there is a growing emphasis on the use of quality indicators to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes [1]. The importance of quality indicators are defined metrics used to evaluate various aspects of healthcare delivery. In gynecologic oncology, these indicators are crucial for assessing the effectiveness of treatment protocols, ensuring patient safety, and measuring overall care quality. They offer a structured approach to monitoring clinical performance and identifying areas for improvement, which are essential for achieving optimal patient outcomes [2]. Recent advancements and challenges recent advancements in gynecologic oncology, including the development of new therapies, the introduction of minimally invasive surgical techniques, and the integration of personalized medicine approaches, have transformed patient care [3]. However, these innovations also bring new challenges in ensuring that clinical practices meet established standards and achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. This review focuses on key quality indicators in gynecologic oncology, aiming to identify effective quality indicators [4]. Materials and Methods
This review is a comprehensive evaluation of quality indicators in gynecologic oncology, focusing on their role in improving clinical outcomes. A systematic literature search was performed to identify relevant studies, guidelines, and reviews [7]. The search strategy included a combination of keywords and MeSH terms related to quality indicators, gynecologic oncology, clinical outcomes, and best practices [8]. Databases searched included PubMed, Google Scholar, Cochrane Library, and Scopus.
