Abstract

Dear Readers The Journal covers a wide range of biological processes at biochemical and molecular level in all living organisms including humans, animals, plants and microbes. This reputed Biochemistry and Physiology journal publishes articles related to clinical chemistry, molecular biology and genetics, therapeutic drug monitoring and toxicology, laboratory immunology and other related fields. The Journal being an academic journal contributes to the academic institutes by covering topics like biochemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, biomedical sciences and many other related subjects taught at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

This reputed Biochemistry and Physiology journal publishes articles related to clinical chemistry, molecular biology and genetics, therapeutic drug monitoring and toxicology, laboratory immunology and other related fields. The Journal being an academic journal contributes to the academic institutes by covering topics like biochemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, biomedical sciences and many other related subjects taught at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The Journal is also engaged in research that uses biochemical and molecular techniques to investigate problems relating to human health and safety. In the year 2019, the journal mainly focused on the highlights of Applied Biochemistry is the part of biochemistry where knowledge and methods related to biochemistry are applied to real world problems like to investigate cause of diseases in medicine, to study effect of nutritional deficiencies, to find ways for pest control, improve productivity and storage in agriculture. In 2020 journal would be mainly covering the topics such as Biochemistry, Applied Biochemistry, Carbohydrate Biochemistry, Cellular Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Comparative Biochemistry, Environmental Biochemistry, Forensic Biochemistry, Lipid Biochemistry, Medical Biochemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry, Pesticide Biochemistry, Process Biochemistry, Protein Biochemistry, Soil Biochemistry. Classification mainly includes Nutritional Biochemistry is a part of biochemistry devoted to study of diet, nutrition, health and metabolism. It mainly helps to understand how nutrition is important for physical well-being and how diet influences health of an individual. The field can be inter-related to agriculture, medicine, food science and technology etc. Analytical biochemistry is a branch of Biochemistry deals with the use of various techniques for the study of biological molecules present in cells, tissues or other body components. The techniques are basically used for separation, quantification, identification and to characterize function of biomolecules. Cellular biochemistry is the study of all sorts of processes that occur within a biological cell and also interactions between different cells. Studies include bimolecular structures, biochemical mechanisms i.e., metabolic pathways, their control, physiological importance and clinical relevance. The regulatory studies cover gene expression, post-translational modifications of proteins, epigenetic controls etc. Lipid biochemistry, are water insoluble biomolecules but soluble in non-polar solvents. Lipids have diverse structures including phospholipids, sphingolipids, vitamins, fatty acids, pigments, cholesterol and many more. Lipid biochemistry mainly deals with biological synthesis and signaling of lipids. Carbohydrate Biochemistry is also a classification fall under major class of biological macromolecules that exist in all living systems. They play a main role in adding structure to organisms and are a primary source of energy. Carbohydrates exist in nature as monosaccharides, oligosaccharides or polysaccharides. Carbohydrate biochemistry studies inter-conversions, synthesis, and functions relevant to carbohydrates.
