Editorial Note

Journal of Pregnancy and Child Health (JPCH) provides the quarterly publication of articles in all areas related to Pregnancy and Child Health Current Research. 2019 Journal Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2017 and 2018 with the number of times they are cited in 2019 based on Google Scholar Citation Index database. JPCH press releases in the year 2019 provided information, an official statement, or making an announcement. The current JPCH Impact factor or the year 2020 is 0.53.

We will be releasing special issues in year 2020 to publish the most exciting research with respect to the subjects of Journal of Pregnancy and Child Health, which will include the information about the current HOT topic Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will be exploring this topic related to the Journal of Pregnancy. Once accepted and published, it will be freely available for reading, downloading, and printing.

The Journal uses most wide platforms for social media advertising, which includes Twitter, LinkedIn to reach the goal like Awareness, Consideration, Conversions, regarding invitation for new articles, and contacting authors, which is straightforward because that offers website clicks or conversation. Besides this, Journals also promote a specific hashtag to drive awareness. Planning and development of journal in the year 2020 include various activities such as high Social media marketing that can play a key role in spreading research work globally with increased visibility, citation. We promote published articles to the social media platforms via Twitter; Facebook; LinkedIn; etc. We are also committed to focus on various secondary and sub classes of Botanical Sciences that will provide keen insights of the field.

All issues of volume 6 were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online. The special issues aims at exploring topics related to stages of labour pains and birth process. We seek original unpublished works that represent specific areas of childbirth.

During 2019, around 49 articles were subjected to the peer-review process and 26 of those were accepted. To publish peer reviewed articles reporting original research, reviews, case studies, opinions and commentaries on quarterly basis. These articles aim at describing new insights and advancements in rapid development.

We are one of the renowned publishers with most of its journals indexed in esteemed databases like Google Scholar, Scopus and listed in PubMed. According to statistics shows that Open Access publishing is generating 1.4 million articles annually, the estimated rate of this annual growth of Open Access model is around 3% to 3.5% every year. The increasing trust of academicians is rising consistently at the rate of 3% each year.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Professor Kazuo Maeda during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, Oscar Garcia-Algar in bringing out issues of JPCH in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of JPCH, for their support in bringing out yet another volume of JPCH and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 8 of JPCH in scheduled time.
