However, the interplay between our surroundings and the foods we yearn for is equally significant. Food cues, ranging from enticing aromas to visual displays, wield considerable power in stimulating cravings. These sensory triggers can hijack our attention and lead us to indulge, illustrating the profound influence of our environment. Social and cultural factors also shape our cravings.
