Abstract

Podiatric interventions play a critical role in managing these complications through evidence-based practices. This article reviews key evidence-based podiatric interventions for diabetic foot care, emphasizing early detection, prevention, and effective management strategies. Diabetic foot complications pose a significant health challenge globally, affecting millions of individuals each year. These complications, often stemming from neuropathy and vascular issues associated with diabetes, can lead to devastating consequences if not managed promptly and effectively. Podiatric interventions play a crucial role in the comprehensive care of diabetic patients, aiming to prevent, treat, and manage foot-related complications through evidence-based practices [1].
Understanding diabetic foot complications
