Abstract
This research explores the development and implementation of a robust Public Health Management Information System (PHMIS) in Lesotho. The aim is to investigate how such a system can contribute to improved health outcomes in the country. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of health data with qualitative interviews and surveys of healthcare professionals and stakeholders. Key findings reveal that a welldesigned PHMIS can significantly enhance the efficiency of public health management, streamline data collection and analysis processes, and facilitate evidence-based decision-making. Moreover, the study underscores the importance of stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and sustainable infrastructure to ensure the success and longevity of the PHMIS.
