Otolaryngology publishes original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc.

I am pleased to mention that during the year 2019, 7 issues of volume 9 were published.

In 2020 this journal is ready to publish number of articles or papers, Now it is At the stage of volume 10 issue 3 for publication of articles.

Scope

Cleft Lip

Cleft lip is facial and oral malformation that occurs during early stages of pregnancy, while the baby is developing inside the mother. A cleft lip happens if the tissue that makes up the lip does not join completely and thus causes an opening in the upper lip that goes through the lip into the nose.

Laryngology

Laryngology is the study of the larynx. It is a branch of medicine that deals with diseases and injuries of the larynx, often called the voice box. The larynx is vital in the body's production of sound.

Pediatric Otolaryngology

Pediatric Otolaryngology is a part of Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Pediatric ENTs use most sophisticated techniques to treat children with common illnesses such as tonsillitis, sinusitis and ear infections.

Otolaryngology

Otolaryngology is the area of medicine especially concerned with the anatomy, function, and diseases of the ear, nose, and throat and related structures of the head and neck, including the sinuses, larynx, oral cavity, and upper pharynx. It can be often called as otorhinolaryngology.

Neurotology

Neurotology is the branch of clinical medicine which studies and treats neurological disorders of the ear. It is sub-specialty of otolaryngology and is closely related to otology. Neurotologist is a board-certified otolaryngologist who provides medical and surgical care of patients, both adult and pediatric, with diseases that affect the ears, balance system, temporal bone, skull base, and related structures of the head and neck.

Larynx

Larynx/ voice box is the part of respiratory system which is a tubeshaped organ in the neck that holds the vocal cords. It is located between the trachea and the pharynx. Laryngeal disorders include various benign and malignant tumors.

Cough Remedies

Cough also known as tussis is a sudden and repetitively occurring reflex which helps to keep the respiratory passages free of irritating material. But too much coughing may mean you have a disease or disorder. Coughs can be either acute or chronic. Honey appeared to be as effective as a common cough suppressant ingredient, dextromethorphan, in typical over-the-counter doses.

Sinus Infections

Sinus infections are caused by virus, bacterium or fungus. They grow within the sinus and causes blockage of sinus ostium. The symptoms include pain in the sinuses, fever, sore throat, sinus headache and cough.

We develop this journal for awareness and to help many peoples and students about typical types of ENT infections and symptoms and how to diagnose these disorders.
