Abstract
Childhood vaccination is a cornerstone of public health, playing a critical role in preventing infectious diseases that can lead to severe morbidity and mortality. This paper reviews the historical development, current recommendations, and impact of childhood vaccines on disease prevention and community health. It begins with an overview of the immunization schedule recommended by health authorities, including vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and polio, among others.
