The exact cause of appendicitis is not always clear, but it often involves the obstruction of the appendix, leading to bacterial overgrowth and inflammation. Possible causes include A blockage in the appendix, often caused by fecal material, foreign bodies, or swollen lymph nodes, can lead to the accumulation of mucus and bacteria, resulting in inflammation. Infections, either within the appendix or in nearby organs, can contribute to the development of appendicitis.
