Characterized by infrequent bowel movements, difficulty passing stool or a sense of incomplete evacuation, constipation can significantly impact one's quality of life. In this comprehensive guide, we will explore the causes, symptoms, and practical strategies for preventing and alleviating constipation. Constipation can arise from a variety of factors, and understanding the underlying causes is crucial for effective management. Common triggers lack of fiber in the diet is a primary contributor to constipation. Fiber adds bulk to the stool and facilitates its movement through the digestive tract. Insufficient water intake can lead to dehydration, making the stool harder and more challenging to pass. Sedentary lifestyles can slow down the digestive system.
