Introduction

On behalf of the Board of the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology (JCEP) and my co-editors I am proud to introduce you to the first fully open access peer-reviewed online journal in cancer. The journal started publishing in 2011 and has since then published several high-quality papers and reviews. Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology (JCEP) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that reflects articles on all types of Pathological disorders. Though the journal started recently it has completed 9 volumes successfully and now it is in 10th volume. This is the result of the work of many people committed to the creation and development of a journal that focuses on standards relevant to the Clinical and pathological trails. Our goal is to provide scholars worldwide with comparative papers on recent developments and research work on Clinical and Experimental Pathological fields on the international level.

It delivers timely interpretations of key scientific developments in Clinical Pathology and its related areas of study. Known personalities with expertise and published studies in a specific field are invited to write reviews and editorials in our journal. Un- invited reviews will also be accepted if written by experts with publications in the field. Manuscripts submitted to the journal will be accepted on the understanding that the author has not previously submitted the paper to another journal or had the material published elsewhere. Manuscripts are rejected if it shows high percentage of plagiarism.

Journal Indexing

JCEP Journal is the most preferred and highly accessed Journal in the field of cancer and prevention. The Journal is indexed in Google scholar, Index Copernicus, CNKI and Scholar among many other reputed scientific databases. At many instances’ members of the editorial board also prefer to submit their articles. Such practice is common in other reputed specialty Journals. In fact, journal encourages editorial board members to actively contribute [1]. All scientific manuscripts including editorials are subjected to peer review. Journal follows a double-blind peer review process where identity of authors and reviewers is not revealed to each other. The review generally involves two to six subject experts. The editorial team consisting of associate editors and assistant editors are involved in the entire article cycle starting from submission to final recommendation. The entire review process is carefully structured so as to minimize possibility of bias [2].

I would like to extend my appreciation to members of the editorial board, who do a substantial amount of work reviewing manuscripts submitted to the journal. In addition to editorial board members, I also rely on ad hoc reviewers.

Scope of the Journal

In 2020 journal aims to serves as a forum for new concepts and advances in Journal of Clinical & Experimental Pathology focuses on the areas such as coagulopathy, Thromboelastography, Immunology, virology, Hematopathology, Anatomical-pathology, leukocyteextravasation, proteoglycans, Nephropathy, heamostasis, anatomical pathology, medical methods used for pathological analysis, disease diagnosis and cure, clinical pathology, forensic pathology, physiological aspects of pathology, coagulopathy etc.
