| Beginning with the single Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics, OMICS Group has published a number of open access scientific articles in respective disciplines. With increasing number of titles, the number of articles published in 2008 stood at 117. A massive addition to the number of titles and the acceptance of peer-reviewed articles saw the number of articles jump to 242 in 2009 and increase three-folds to 769 in 2010. OMICS Publishing Group continued its run with introduction of even more open access journals that reached about 150 in 2011, while the annual number of articles published touched 2322. An even more efficient and smooth tracking system and the quick and authentic peer-review process saw OMICS Group record a whopping 6651 published articles in 2012. |
